UK retail job cuts reach their fastest rate since 2009 with more pain to come in September, according to one of the country's biggest business organizations. The Confederation of British Industry (CBI)'s latest survey of retailers found that the employment in the retail sector has nearly halved over the past year.Few of the many retailers who have made job cuts since the start of the lockdown are Harveys, Jack Wills, Arcadia Group, H&M Group, Burberry, John Lewis, Monsoon Accessorize, Debenhams, Victoria's Secret, Harrods, Aldo, Mark & Spencer’s.
