DAVID CAMERON PLEDGES RADICAL BUSINESS RATES REFORM

Published: 06/02/2014

David Cameron could decide to scrap the tax on the commercial property in the United Kingdom, according to an overhaul of business rates called “fundamental reform”.

Pubs, restaurants and smalls shops could benefit from a £1,000 discount or an extend relief.

The Prime Minister recognizes the urgent need for business rates reform, but wants a longer term reform.

The British Retail Consortium is also drawing up an alternative to business rates and will present its findings to the Government.
