The Queen’s property company, The Crown estate and Norway’s sovereign wealth fund, Norges have together taken up Mayfair prime property for £381m competing against Alamacantar, headed by Mike Hussey, ex-Land Securities executive and Wheelock, backed by the Hong Kong billionaire Peter Woo.

The Crown Estate and Norges bought a 64.2% stake in the Pollen Estate from the Church Commissioners for England.
