Google is planning to relocate its London employees into a future massive ‘ground-scraper’ located close to King’s Cross near Bloomsbury. The American giant has filed plans for a new £650m, 330m-long; one million sq. ft. building that will be part of the 67-acre King’s Cross development scheme which purpose is transforming a neighbourhood frequented by ladies of the night to a neighbourhood frequented by late-night Google employees. Dan Cobley, Google UK’s managing director said the company was committed to playing a role in the regeneration of this historic area. All they need is the approval of the Camden Council to start the works of the building designed by the architecture.
