A few years ago, only the brave and perhaps foolhardy would have looked at the commercial property as a profitable investment. Commercial property tends to be at the forefront of the pain in case of financial crisis.

But the prospects for 2014 are good: commerce is waking up after the years following the crash. Returns from savings accounts and government bonds are so poor that people need to place money in safe, long-term investments: commercial property. The appetite for commercial properties expands out from the City of London offices into other assets and regions.
